Description

This time we will talk about an application that invites you to be prepared and start building your Internet of Things project immediately with the complementary application of Core, Photon and Electron. What is it about? Well, this time we will talk about the chance to download Particle, an app that is presented by Particle Industries, Inc and that is part of the Development Tools section. Photon is a small but powerful Wi-Fi development board from the Particle team (formerly known as Spark). To install Particle you will only have to click on the download link that is located at the end of this note.

Particle for Windows Phone

Your Photon and this app are all you need to kickstart your IoT project or prototype; The kit comes preloaded with our firmware libraries and is cloud-connected out of the box. Also connect and manage your Electron, our new cellular IoT development kit. You can get the Particle app to easily connect your Photon to a Wi-Fi network in a few easy steps. The app will guide you through the entire setup process step by step until your board’s LED flashes cyan, indicating that it is connected and ready to be programmed.

Particle is available on mobile devices that have the Windows Phone 10 operating system or later versions.
